Recruits remember, it is your job to impress us.
Sovereign is a cross over guild from EQ1, where we flourished in the high end game. Most of our existing members were here years before WoW was released. As such, we have high standards for the people that we are willing to call guildmates. You must be level 60 and be properly spec'd for raiding. This means no feral spec'd druids and no shadow spec'd priests. If you apply and are accepted and then we figure out that you are one of the above, expect your acceptance to be short lived. Do yourself a favor and wait until you are level 60 and properly spec'd to apply.
If you're a moron that can't follow direction, stop here. We don't want you. Battlenet kid? same deal. Look elsewhere. If you are fourteen and you have the attention span of a... well a fourteen year old kid, don't even bother applying (but make sure Seijinn has your contact info). We seek mature and driven players of all classes.
If accepted as a recruit, you will be tagged as a trial member with little to no access to guildchat. Recruiting is defined by the individual, and will last as long as it takes to get a good feel for you as a potential member. Expect it to last two weeks at the bare minimum.
We expect you to SHOW UP - in other words, be there for 75% of the raids, state your play time (be honest) up front. Our raid window is from 5:30pm PST to whenever we're done, four or five nights a week.
We expect our recruits to perform. You are here to make us want to guild you, we are watching you! Work with members of your class, and accept criticism. Have balls! Heal people, off-tank and don't be afraid to die! If you're not aggressive at the above things we don't need you. Finally, the officers reserve the right to tell you how to play your class. No, we're not dicks, but if you're not doing something that needs to be done we WILL tell you to do it.
Before you advance to the application form, take a moment and create either a Thottbot or Allakhazam profile so you have one for us to check out.
